Mayor Rob McFarland is proud to proclaim February 24th as Twin Peaks Day in North Bend.

This special day originated from the television show Twin Peaks, created by Mark Frost and David Lynch in 1990. February 24th is celebrated by Twin Peaks fans worldwide as the day when the character of FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper arrived in the town of Twin Peaks.

2023 marks the City’s sixth year of officially recognizing Twin Peaks Day. At 11:30 a.m., City Councilmember Mary Miller read Mayor McFarland’s proclamation at the site of the “Welcome to Twin Peaks” sign, as it appeared in the series. Gathered around were a community of fans, the SnoValley Chamber, and the North Bend Downtown Foundation. Read the full Twin Peaks Proclamation HERE.

This weekend, local fans and those from around the world will be celebrating alongside the SnoValley Chamber and the Downtown Foundation, for an entire weekend of themed fun from Friday, February 24th through Sunday, February 26th. The event, The Real Twin Peaks Days, will include dinner and dancing, a charity auction, themed panels, cosplay, and more. Many downtown businesses in the cities of North Bend and Snoqualmie will be participating and look forward to celebrating. Coordinators will be raising money for local charity, Mama’s Hands.
