Bryce Johnson and Washington fall 8-5 to Gonzaga in NCAA baseball matchup

At 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, the Washington Huskies, featuring former Eastlake High School standout Bryce Johnson, dropped their NCAA Division I baseball game 8-5 to the Gonzaga Bulldogs.

Husky Ballpark was the site of the contest, marking the second meeting between the teams this season. The Huskies previously fell 9-2 to Gonzaga on Monday, April 6.

Johnson pitched for 1.1 innings, giving up four earned runs and striking out one batter.

The Huskies are set to play next on Friday, April 10, at Siebert Field against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
