Celebrate Arbor Day with Mercer Island

We’re celebrating our 6th year as a Tree City with our annual Arbor Day planting event! Come plant trees and shrubs in Mercerdale Park to enhance the forest buffer and start the

next generation of trees. Get your hands in the dirt, celebrate the trees of the city, work alongside neighbors and friends, and eat snacks! No experience necessary; gloves and

tools are provided.

When: Saturday, October 15th. 10am-1pm

Where: Mercerdale Park, near the skate park

What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring a water bottle. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be

provided.
