City’s crews continue to work around the clock

With the temperature rising above freezing, it can be tempting to drive this afternoon, but neighborhood roads are still very icy. Icy roads are challenging for all vehicles, even those with four-wheel drive and/or chains. Please stay home and off roads if you can.
City’s crews continue to work around the clock. They are currently focusing de-icing products and plowing on priority 1 routes to make sure that emergency vehicles have access in Sammamish. Due to widespread ice, continuing precipitation and limited supplies of road salt, it is unlikely that crews will be able to clear neighborhood routes.
Please be safe! Thank you for staying off roads so main routes can be clear for emergency vehicles.
