On April 22, 2025, DelBene critiqued proposed Medicaid cuts, arguing their detrimental effects on both patients and healthcare providers, saying, “Republicans’ Medicaid cuts would be devastating for patients in our community who wouldn’t be able to afford health care & providers who would be forced to scale back services.”

Later the same day, she reflected on her engagement with students, tweeting about her recent visit to a local educational institution. She noted, “Spoke with students at Stella Schola Middle School today to discuss what it means to be a leader. Always an enjoyable visit!”

Early on April 23, 2025, Rep. DelBene expressed her condolences following a violent event overseas. She stated, “I condemn the horrific terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Kashmir. I join our community in grieving with the families & loved ones of the victims of this senseless act of violence.”
