Garbage/Recycling Collections Canceled November 30, Drop-off Site Available at Torguson Park

0Comments

Republic Services has informed the City of North Bend that it will not be able to service residential and commercial customers on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. It was determined to be too hazardous after a local conditions assessment was performed.

In the meantime, customers missed on Wednesday may drop garbage at Torguson Park, 750 E. North Bend Way. Republic Services will have manned trucks on site to perform collections. Dumpsters will be available from approximately 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2022. This will be a staffed event, with Republic Services employees on-site to assist in unloading customers’ vehicles. This drop-off location is for bagged residential household garbage only; no oversized items are allowed.

If customers do not wish to bring their refuse to Torguson Park, Republic Services will pick up double loads the following Wednesday, on December 7, at no charge. Republic Services is calling all Wednesday customers this morning (November 30), at approximately 9 a.m. to notify them of the option to bring refuse to Torguson Park for disposal.

For additional information about Republic Services’ missed collections, visit the North Bend Republic Services website at: https://www.republicservices.com/municipality/north-bend-wa or City customer service phone lines: Residential: 206-682-9730 OR Commercial: 206-682-3037.

The City thanks residents for their patience as the region works through its first snow event of the season. We will provide ongoing updates as more information becomes available from Republic Services.
