The Whitman Blues, featuring former Bellevue High School star Kengo Shirokane, were defeated 17-10 by the George Fox Bruins in an NCAA Division III baseball contest at noon on Saturday, March 7.

The contest was held at Borleske Stadium, marking the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Shirokane pitched 0.2 innings, giving up two earned runs and allowing three walks.

The Blues will face the George Fox Bruins again on Saturday, March 7, at 3 p.m. at Borleske Stadium.
