Are you interested in learning about how your household can make changes to reduce carbon emissions? Consider signing up for BrightAction,  a free application that makes it easy to learn about everyday  solutions, save money, and track progress with personalized  recommendations. After creating an account, you can work together with other households in the community and help each other succeed!

This tool is being offered in partnership with the League of Women  Voters of Seattle-King County, a nonpartisan 501(c)(3)  organization. During the City Council meeting on May 17, 2022, a  representative of the League presented a demo of BrightAction to the  City Council and described how Sammamish residents can use this  application to reduce emissions.  

How to participate: 

  • Step 1 – Click here to open the app. You will see a webpage with the title “Empowering  Citizens on Climate Protection” with the League’s banner in the upper  left corner.
  • Step 2 – In the upper right corner, click the blue “Get Started” button.
  • Step 3 – In the “sign up” box, choose the  state and the city you live in for the first row, then League of Women  Voters Seattle-King County and your city LWV chapter in the second row.
  • Step 4 – Click “Sign Up” and enter your information to create your new account!
