LWSD students named to USA Cycling National Team

Emma Artz, senior at Juanita High School and Jack Spranger, senior at Eastlake High School were recently named to the 2022 USA Cycling National Team. Emma Artz  competes in Mountain Bike Downhill while Jack Spranger competes in both  Cyclocross and Mountain Bike Cross-Country. The students are two of only  98 cyclists named to the National Team.

According to the USA Cycling website: “The USA Cycling National Team  exists to recognize and support cyclists who represent the United States  of America at the highest level of the sport… The team is made up of 49  women and 49 men, 16 current and former World Champions, and 25  Olympians that collectively hold six Olympic medals.”
