On June 10, 2025, Microsoft announced its investment in Germany’s Silux Solar Facility. In a tweet, the company stated: “From coal mines to clean power—this is what transformation looks like. Later that day, Microsoft highlighted a significant milestone achieved by Ireland’s Drumlins Park. The project became the first wind initiative to go commercial under a new strategic partnership. In Poland, Microsoft’s Kotun Solar Project contributes to reducing emissions on one of Europe’s most carbon-intensive grids by adding 36 MW of clean energy.
