The City of North Bend and the Snoqualmie Tribe’s annual spring Special Recycling Event happens Saturday, May 14th, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Snoqualmie Middle School (SMS), 9200 Railroad Ave SE. This year’s event also includes free giveaways with a limited number of prizes for attendees.

Load up your vehicle with accepted items (see list and order to load below) and head to the SMS parking lot where various organizations will take those unwanted items for proper recycling. The free event is open to King County residents.

Please do not bring any petroleum products, oil or oil filters, clothing or household goods this year. Those items can be disposed of at a Traveling Wastemobile event scheduled for July 8th through 10th, 2022, at Cascade View Elementary, on Snoqualmie Ridge.

In addition to hazardous waste, other items not accepted include wood, yard waste, planter pots, construction and demolition debris, propane tanks, and mattresses.
