Your Next North Bend Yard Waste Recycling Event: The City of North Bend’s next 2022 North Bend Yard Waste Recycling program is set for Saturday, July 9th.  The annual recycling program is open to North Bend residents and  property owners on select Saturdays through October, from 8:00 a.m. to  12:00 p.m. at the North Bend Public Works building, located at 1155 E.  North Bend Way. NOTE: Please enter through City Hall, located at 920 SE  Cedar Falls Way.

Blood Donation Opportunity in North Bend: Do you have an hour to spare on July 11? Want to make a positive difference in someone’s life? Bloodworks Northwest is coming to North Bend! Secure your time to donate blood HERE.

Bloodworks Northwest is partnering with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and will transform the Cultural Hall-Gym into a Pop-Up Donor Center, at 527 SW-Mt. Si Blvd.

Road Closures Scheduled for Downtown Block Party: The North Bend Downtown Foundation and the City of North Bend are excited to present the 12th annual Downtown Block Party Saturday, July 16th from Noon to 11 p.m. To accommodate the event, the following streets will be closed from approximately 6 a.m. Saturday, July 16th and will remain closed until 3 a.m. Sunday, July 17th:   

  • North Bend Way, between Bendigo Boulevard and Ballarat Avenue
  • Main Avenue South, between McClellan Street and 107 Main Avenue North

City seeking youth applicants for vacancy on Parks Commission: The  City of North Bend is seeking youth between the ages of 16 and 18 who  reside within the Snoqualmie Valley School District boundaries to fill a  youth position on the Parks Commission. Youth interested in serving the  community on this important Commission are urged to submit an  application. Deadline for applying is Wednesday, July 20.

Free Summer Matinee Movie Program:  Planning your week of summer fun for the family? Thanks to the North  Bend Theatre and Si View Metro Parks, the Free Summer Matinee program is  back in town, now through August 26. Check out the movie schedule HERE. 

Snoqualmie Valley Transportation Summer Freedom Program Returns: Snoqualmie Valley Transportation’s Summer Freedom program is back,  allowing riders who are 18 or younger to ride free now through August 31st.  This program helps local youth get to where they need to go this  summer. The free rides apply to all the services, including  door-to-door, the loop routes, and the Valley Shuttle. More information  about the SVT Monday-through-Friday services is available at www.svtbus.org or call (425) 888-7001. SVT also offers training for your kids on how to ride the bus!
