Washington State Cougars, with former Skyline High School standout Mason Pirello on the roster, earned a 12-6 win in their NCAA Division I game against the Nevada Wolf Pack at 4:05 p.m. on Friday, March 27.

The matchup, held at Bailey-Brayton Field, marked the teams’ first meeting this season.

Pirello went 1-for-3 at the plate and scored three runs.

The Cougars will face the Wolf Pack again at Bailey-Brayton Field on Saturday, March 28.
