Police Investigating Possible Attempted Child Luring Incident in North Bend

The Snoqualmie/North Bend Police Department responded  on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at approximately 3:41 p.m. to a possible  attempted child luring incident at Torguson Park

located at 750 E North  Bend Way in the City of North Bend. A mother called 911 to report a  suspicious male subject in the park attempted to have her five (5) year  old son walk

away with him after giving him a toy. Bystanders  intervened, and the male suspect left the area on a bicycle. 

The  suspect was described as a white male in his late 40’s or early 50’s  with long dark colored hair and a skinny build. An extensive area check  was conducted; however, the

suspect was not located. This case remains  open and under investigation.
