Rep. Suzan DelBene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Washington’s 1st district since 2012, addressed several issues on her social media account between September 10 and September 11, 2025.
On September 10, DelBene commented on an incident involving Charlie Kirk, stating: “Political violence has no place in America. My heart goes out to Charlie Kirk, his family, & everyone impacted by this horrific act.”
The following day, she raised concerns about healthcare costs for Washington residents enrolled in WA Health Plan Finder. On September 11, DelBene wrote: “Those on WA Health Plan Finder could see premiums spike by 65% next year due to Republican cuts to health care & premium tax credits. When you see the new rates, I want to hear from you. Share your story at https://t.co/a74Z99qGBy https://t.co/3CEDROCUHG”
Later that day, DelBene commemorated the anniversary of the September 11 attacks with a tribute post: “Today we remember the lives lost on 9/11 & honor the heroes who showed courage in the face of tragedy. We must never forget. https://t.co/sV3nOz6qFm”
