Rep. Suzan DelBene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Washington’s 1st District since 2012, recently shared her thoughts and activities on social media. Born in Selma, Alabama in 1962, DelBene has a background in education from Reed College and the University of Washington. She currently resides in Medina.

On February 6, 2025, Rep. DelBene expressed concerns about privacy violations related to former President Donald Trump and Elon Musk. She stated: “Trump is giving Musk unauthorized access to your sensitive personal info. This is a violation of your privacy.”

The following day, on February 7, 2025, she highlighted her diplomatic engagements by noting a meeting with officials from Alberta: “Met with Alberta government officials today to discuss the importance of our regional partnership.”

Later that same day, Rep. DelBene discussed healthcare issues with SEIU 775: “Had a great conversation today with SEIU 775 to discuss the importance of protecting Medicaid & supporting caregivers.”
