Rep. Suzan DelBene, currently serving in the U.S. Congress and representing Washington’s 1st district, recently communicated with her constituents through a series of tweets. Having replaced Jay Inslee in 2012, DelBene continues to engage with public matters actively.

On April 19, 2025, DelBene shared her experience at a town hall meeting in Lake Stevens. She expressed gratitude towards the attendees, mentioning, “Great town hall in Lake Stevens today! Thanks to everyone who came out on a Saturday morning.”

The following day, on April 20, she extended holiday greetings to her followers by stating, “Happy Easter to all who celebrate!”

Later that day, DelBene expressed her condolences over the death of a colleague. She tweeted, “Saddened by the sudden passing of state Sen. Bill Ramos. I appreciated working with him in Snoqualmie Valley & my thoughts are with his wife & loved ones at this difficult time.”

Born in 1962 in Selma, Alabama, Rep. DelBene, aged 61, resides in Medina. She is an alumnus of Reed College and the University of Washington, advancing her education in the sciences.
