Seattle University baseball defeated British Columbia, 12-3, at Bannerwood Park on April 7 after a strong comeback in the final innings. The Redhawks trailed through six innings but scored a total of 12 runs in the seventh and eighth to secure the win.

The game turned when Seattle U scored six runs in both the seventh and eighth innings. Payton Knowles, Jake Beauchaine, and Hayden Carlson each drove in two runs for the team. Tyler Horner hit a three-run home run in the eighth inning, giving him the team lead for runs batted in during this game.

Kaden Alberghini earned his first win of the season after pitching just one-third of an inning. Camden Oram started for Seattle U and pitched two scoreless innings without allowing an earned run.

With this victory, Seattle U moves to a record of nine wins and nineteen losses overall, including five wins out of twelve home games. The Redhawks will return to conference play with a three-game series against Loyola Marymount starting Friday, April 10 at Bannerwood Park.

The result marks an important step as Seattle U looks to improve its standing over the rest of the season.
