Seattle University baseball lost to San Diego State, 5-9, on April 20 at Tony Gwynn Stadium in San Diego. The Redhawks concluded their four-game road trip in San Diego with a split record of two wins and two losses.

The result leaves Seattle U with an overall season record of 14-21. The team will return home for a three-game conference series against Pepperdine beginning Friday, April 24.

Payton Knowles led the Redhawks offensively by going three-for-four at the plate. Tyler Horner contributed with a team-high two runs batted in, while Jake Beauchaine and Hayden Carlson each added one RBI. Pitcher Jake Morell took the loss after pitching two innings and allowing two earned runs on four hits.
