City of Sammamish issued the following announcement on April 13.
Play Safe in the Sunshine
City of Redmond parks and trails are open (except Edge Skate Park) while King County owned facilities such as Sammamish River Trail and Marymoor Park are closed. Help keep our parks safe so everyone can enjoy the physical and mental health benefits of nature and open space.
Practice social distancing
Stay home if you are sick
Wash your hands frequently
Avoid crowded areas or group gatherings
Follow the CDC guidelines
Recycle
Please Flatten and Recycle
Cardboard Boxes
As online ordering has increased, so can the pile-up of cardboard boxes. Please flatten all cardboard and place it in the recycling container. This saves space and ensures your recyclables can be made into new materials such as tissue, paper towels and grocery containers.
Census
Have You Completed the Census?
The 2020 Census helps determine how much federal funding comes to our community for things like improved roadways, health clinics, schools, fire departments and much more. Please help our community by completing the census today.
