CITY OF ISSAQUAH: Prepare Now: COVID-19 Information Latest Update

Corona

City of Issaquah issued the following announcement on April 14.

The sun will be out this week, but please enjoy the weather while you Stay Home, Stay Healthy. If you take a car, the park or trail is too far.

Walking or biking to our nearby parks? Please also respect our facility closures, and stay at least six feet from others at all times.

Public Health – Seattle & King County is requiring that everyone with COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, and/or difficulty breathing) who has a test pending to stay quarantined.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gov. Jay Inslee issued a statewide "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" order through May 4 that:

  • Requires every Washingtonian to stay home unless they need to pursue an essential activity.
  • Bans all gatherings for social, spiritual and recreational purposes.
  • Closes all businesses, except essential ones (see this online form for businesses to get clarification or submit a request for inclusion as essential).
The proclamation states it’s still safe for people to go outside as long as they remain at least six feet from each other. Grocery stores, doctor’s offices and other essential businesses will remain open. People can still participate in activities such as bike rides, gardening and dog walking — as long as they follow physical distancing rules.
