Newcastle median home prices rose by 3.8% in May 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2021 in Newcastle rose by $46,100 while total sales increased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2021, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,270,000 - a 3.8% increase over the $1,223,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Newcastle in May 2020.

The median sales tax in Newcastle for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $7,041, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for May 2021.
