Home prices increased in Kirkland during the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Kirkland rose by $290,000 while total sales increased by 27.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 249 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,600,000 - a 22.1% increase over the $1,310,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 195 homes sold in Kirkland in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Kirkland for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,770, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
