What happened to the median home price in Bellevue during the first half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Bellevue rose by $319,200 while total sales increased by 83.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 424 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,450,000 - a 28.2% increase over the $1,130,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 231 homes sold in Bellevue in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Bellevue for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,881, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
