2021: Home prices in Kirkland increased

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Kirkland rose by $260,000 while total sales increased by 50.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were 467 homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,500,000 - a 21% increase over the $1,240,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 310 homes sold in Kirkland in 2020.

The median sales tax in Kirkland for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,770, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for 2021.
