City of North Bend issued the following announcement on Mar. 7.
The Washington State Fire Training Academy (FTA) has notified the City that it will be hosting training exercises on March 7th, March 8th and possibly March 9th, that may result in explosive noises being heard in areas of North Bend. Explosive noises are possible from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The FTA is located just east of North Bend, off I-90 exit 38, and protects the citizens of Washington State through training, collaboration, and support of the fire service and other public safety professionals.
