The City of North Bend is seeking applicants for multiple vacancies on the Planning Commission, terms expiring May 18, 2024 or May 18, 2026.
The Commission is an advisory body to the City Council that prepares and recommends coordinated plans, regulations, and restrictions for the physical development of the City. The Commission typically meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.
NBMC Chapter 2.28 states “Four of the Commissioners shall reside inside the city limits while three may reside inside the 98045 zip code”. The open positions may be filled by citizens who resides either within the city limits, or within the 98045 zip code.
Anyone interested in serving the Community on this important Commission is urged to submit an application by email to the City Clerk at soppedal@northbendwa.gov or by mail to the City of North Bend, Attn: City Clerk, 920 SE Cedar Falls Way, North Bend, WA 98045.
The deadline for submission is Friday, April 8, 2022.
