Job Openings at the City in Community Development, Parks & Public Works, and Police Departments

Senior Planner

This role, housed in Community Development, supports planning projects and policy development, including preparation of the Comprehensive Plan, development regulations, sub-area plans, strategic plans, GMA (Growth Management Act), SEPA (State Environmental Policy Act), and SMA (Shoreline Management Act) compliance and administration. Position closes May 28 and includes a signing bonus. Learn more. 

Seasonal Parks & Public Works Workers 

The City is hiring workers for temporary seasonal four (4) month positions under the direct supervision of the assigned supervisor in the Parks, Urban Forestry, Water, Wastewater, Street/Stormwater, Fleet/Facilities divisions and under the general supervision of the Operations Manager and the Parks & Public Works Director. Workers perform duties associated with the maintenance and operations of the City’s parks and open spaces and public works facilities. Possible weekend and late hour work schedule. Lead Operator Wastewater

This Parks and Public Works role leads completion of skilled work in operating the City sewer and water reclamation treatment facilities, reuse water transmission, collection systems, and storm conveyance maintenance systems on an assigned shift. Position closes May 6. Learn more. 

Lateral and Entry-Level Police Officers

Police officers are hired under the authority of the City of Snoqualmie Civil Service Commission. Continuous testing is conducted for Entry-Level Police Officers and Lateral/Exceptional Entry Police Officers. Learn more.
