East North Bend Water Update: Your City water tap runs with clean, safe, accessible water when you need it. Behind the scenes, your City water department protects the health of
the Snoqualmie River and makes the necessary upgrades to its system to ensure that customers will have water now, and well into the future. As we continue to provide this critical
and essential service to our customers, we want to ensure that every property owner, business, and resident has access to clean, safe, accessible water, including those served by the Sallal Water Association.
On August 16th, Mayor McFarland attended a meeting of the Sallal Board of Directors and offered to purchase Sallal for its full fair market value to be determined by a licensed
appraiser. While Sallal is under an emergency moratorium and cannot provide additional connections, the City can provide the water supply to Sallal’s water service area as soon as
the purchase is approved.
