U.S. Representative Suzan DelBene, who has served Washington’s 1st district in Congress since 2012, recently posted a series of messages on her official X account addressing concerns about economic policy and engaging with local students.
On September 9, 2025, DelBene wrote: “Trump’s policies are a threat to Americans’ wellbeing, with #Trumpflation jacking up costs for families already struggling with higher prices.” In a follow-up post the same day, she encouraged public participation by stating: “Share your photos of price tags and bills with #Trumpflation to show the realities families are facing and push for real solutions.”
The following day, on September 10, DelBene highlighted her engagement with students from the University of Washington Bothell during their visit to Washington D.C., writing: “Great to have @UWBothell students in DC today. Always appreciate the opportunity to hear from young people about issues they care deeply about. https://t.co/xfeP1dGKgP”

She earned her undergraduate degree from Reed College in 1983 and later graduated from the University of Washington in 1990.
