On February 1, 2025, Rep. DelBene expressed concern over potential international trade conflicts. She stated that “Canada, Mexico, & China are planning to retaliate with their own tariffs against American exporters that will cost American jobs.

She announced the launch of Washington’s first-ever electric fire truck in Redmond, stating “Great to help launch Washington’s first-ever electric fire truck in Redmond today! I secured $1 million for two trucks that will be shared between Redmond & Bellevue. This exciting project will help improve public safety while reducing carbon emissions.

She mentioned that “Two more 2-line stations in Redmond are slated to open on May 10, further connecting Eastside communities!
