On March 14, 2025, DelBene expressed her disapproval of a Republican funding bill by stating: “The Republican funding bill gives more control of our government to Trump & Musk while cutting programs that support you.” She noted her vote against the bill and acknowledged the leadership of Senators Murray and Cantwell in their collective efforts to advocate for community interests.

The following day, March 15, 2025, DelBene highlighted a discussion with Attorney General Nick Brown regarding federal funding’s role in advancing medical research in Washington state. She urged followers to “Check out Attorney General of WA, Nick Brown, & I discussing the important role that federal funding plays in helping WA researchers develop the cures & treatments of tomorrow.”

In a tweet dated March 16, 2025, DelBene commemorated Women’s History Month by acknowledging the significant impact women have had on American society.
