0Comments

In September, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) begins a series of transportation improvement projects, one of which addresses rough freeway

conditions on Interstate 90 (I-90), east of Issaquah, between Highlands Drive Northeast and just west of Southeast High Point Way. Drivers should be prepared for the following:

Sunday, September 11, at 9 p.m. to Thursday, September 15, at 5 a.m., westbound I-90 will be reduced to one lane in the project area while crews add drainage and smooth a 1-mile

section of rough freeway approximately one mile west of Southeast High Point Way.

Sunday, September 18, at 9 p.m. to Friday, September 23, at 5 a.m., westbound I-90 will be reduced to one lane in the project area while crews complete this work and replace

broken concrete panels on the right side of westbound I-90.

As a reminder, WSDOT crews will be actively working in two of the three lanes of I-90. Drivers are encouraged to stay calm during upcoming traffic delays, leave early, drive the

posted speeds, and pay attention to workers directing you and to surrounding traffic.
