Washington Huskies fall 3-2 to San Diego State Aztecs; Bryce Johnson pitches 3 innings

The Washington Huskies dropped a close 3-2 decision to the San Diego State Aztecs in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m. Bryce Johnson, a former Eastlake High School star, is a member of the Huskies roster.

The contest was held at Husky Ballpark and marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. The Huskies also faced the Aztecs on Friday, Feb. 27, falling 9-4.

Johnson completed three innings on the mound, finishing with one walk and tallying three strikeouts.

Washington is set to take on the Aztecs again at Husky Ballpark on Sunday, March 1.
