Former Mount Si High School standout Tyler Disch helped Whitworth secure a 4-3 win over the Lewis & Clark Pioneers in their NCAA Division III baseball matchup on Sunday, March 15, at 11 a.m.

The game was held at Paul Merkel Field and marked the teams’ third meeting of the season. On Saturday, March 14, the Pirates took a decisive 17-3 victory over the Pioneers.

Disch pitched 0.1 innings, allowing one earned run and registering one strikeout.

Whitworth’s upcoming contest is set for Saturday, March 21, at 12 p.m. against the George Fox Bruins at Curtis and Margaret Morse Athletic Fields.
