AC Water Main Project in Medina

AC Water Main Project in Medina

Locations: NE 80th, NE 10th St., Evergreen Point Road and NE 14th St.

Project Details:

The City of Bellevue Utilities Department will replace the existing  asbestos cement water main at the locations listed above in Medina. The  contractor will be installing a new ductile iron water main in its  place. This work will directly affect the service connections to several  Medina homes. Other nearby residences may experience temporary,  scheduled water service shutdowns to facilitate the work being done.  Some equipment and materials may be staged along nearby streets.

Construction is scheduled to begin early July 2022 with an anticipated completion date of December 2022. This date is supply chain dependent.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. The City would  like to take this opportunity to begin direct communication and  coordination with you as construction of this project begins. Excavation  work and the presence of construction equipment within the roadway will  necessitate some temporary traffic control and limited vehicle  accessibility through the area of the work.

At water service line replacement locations, the contractor will  connect the new service line to the existing water service at the  current water meter location. Meter boxes are typically located within  the City’s right of way. If you believe the meter box serving your  property is located outside of the Right of Way and within your  property, or you have any other questions or concerns, please let us  know.

You can expect some traffic delays, construction equipment, materials  and construction activity in your neighborhood while the work is in  progress. The City of Bellevue and Kar-Vel Construction would like to  thank you in advance for your patience, understanding and cooperation  during this project.
