The Festival at Mt. Si Kicks Off Saturday, August 13th: The annual, historic Festival at Mt. Si is returning to North Bend after a two-year hiatus on Saturday, August 13th and
Sunday, August 14th. Festival activities include the Grand Parade and the Kiddie Parade, a kid zone, pickleball, the Alpine Days 5k Fun Run, live music, a vendor fair, traditional

Happy National Farmers Market Week: This week was National Farmers Market Week, and Si View Metro Parks’ North Bend Farmers Market was packed with fresh produce,
crafts, live music and community! Stop by Si View Park and support your local farmers, vendors, musicians and nonprofit organizations on Thursdays, from 4 to 8 p.m., with the
Summer Concert stage running 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Stage 1 of the North Bend Water Conservation Ordinance Begins Monday, August 15th: The City of North Bend is actively pursuing water conservation in a variety of ways:
through ongoing distribution system leak reduction efforts, customer conservation education, installation of replacement watermains and starting in 2020, the Water Conservation
Ordinance (WCO). The WCO is now three years old. For some, this ordinance is an anticipated seasonal practice in our community, and for others, the WCO is new and as a
participant, we understand new residents want to ensure they have all the information they need to join in water conservation efforts. Click the linked headline to learn more about

August 16th North Bend City Council Meeting: The community is invited to join City staff and elected officials for the in-person/hybrid August 16th City Council meeting at 7 p.m.,

prefer to join virtually.
Human Services and Community Organizations Grant Funding: The City of North Bend is now accepting grant funding requests from local human service and community
organizations as part of the City’s 2023 budget cycle. Local non-profit 501C3 designated organizations that provide the following are encouraged to apply:
- Human Services related to assisting individuals in meeting their basic needs of food, shelter, clothing, medical assistance, and safety from abuse.
- Community Services that enrich the city and its quality of life.
- Application requests must be received by September 2nd
