Barnyard animals and pumpkins headline Kelsey Creek Farm Fair on October 1, 2022

Celebrate the city’s agricultural past at the 40th annual Kelsey Creek Farm Fair on Saturday, Oct. 1, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Festivities will include: hands-on pioneer activities; animal viewing; scarecrows; pedal tractors; train display and demonstration, tractor-pulled wagon rides by Northwest Vintage

Tractor Club; food trucks; and a pumpkin patch.

Free shuttles will run from Bannerwood Sports Park, 1790 Richards Road, and the Wilburton Park and Ride, 720 114th Ave. SE, to Kelsey Creek Farm, 410 130th Pl SE. The last

shuttle will leave the farm at 4:15 p.m.

In 1921, the site of the current Kelsey Creek Park was a farm called Twin Valley Dairy that produced milk, cream and butter. Nearly 50 years later, the city purchased part of the farm

that became a park.
