Rep. Suzan DelBene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Washington's 1st district since 2012, has recently shared updates on her legislative activities and initiatives through social media posts.

On March 20, 2025, Rep. DelBene announced the reintroduction of the National Landslide Preparedness Reauthorization Act in collaboration with Representatives Schrier, Gluesenkamp Perez, and Newhouse. She stated that this initiative aims to enhance community preparedness for natural disasters and save lives. "This week I reintroduced the National Landslide Preparedness Reauthorization Act with Reps. Schrier, Gluesenkamp Perez, & Newhouse. This will help save lives & help our communities better prepare for natural disasters."

The following day, March 21, 2025, Rep. DelBene criticized a tax bill proposed by Republicans via another post. She argued that the bill primarily benefits the wealthy and well-connected individuals while neglecting working families who are burdened by rising costs. "Who would really benefit from Republicans’ tax bill? Only the wealthy & well-connected while working families continue to struggle from rising costs."

On March 22, 2025, she highlighted an opportunity for young artists through her announcement about the ongoing Congressional Art Competition of 2025. The winning artwork is set to be displayed in the Capitol for one year and submissions are open until April 18th via her website."The 2025 Congressional Art Competition is underway, & winning artwork will be displayed in the Capitol for one year!
