Suzan DelBene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Washington’s 1st district since 2012, has been vocal on several issues through her recent tweets. Her posts cover topics ranging from federal education funding to local community meetings and data privacy concerns.

On March 11, 2025, DelBene criticized former President Donald Trump's efforts regarding the Education Department. She stated that "Trump’s illegal attempt to dismantle the Education Department will slash federal funding for public schools nationwide, eliminate programs for children with disabilities, & cut programs that make attending college affordable."

The following day, March 12, 2025, she expressed gratitude towards local officials after a meeting about community improvements. In her words: "Thank you to city officials from Kenmore, Lake Stevens, Redmond, Bothell, Arlington, & Marysville for meeting with me today to discuss ways we can improve our communities."

Later on March 12th, DelBene addressed concerns over data privacy related to Elon Musk and DOGE. She questioned Republican opposition in this matter by stating: "There is no reason Republicans should oppose getting answers to reasonable questions about Elon Musk and DOGE’s access to our private data unless they have something to hide. I will continue to advocate for protecting your data even if Republicans won’t."
