Rep. Suzan DelBene, representing Washington’s 1st District in the U.S. Congress, shared her perspectives on several issues through a series of tweets. Her remarks covered topics such as international trade, federal funding, and a tribute to a colleague.

On March 12, 2025, Rep. DelBene commented on the impact of former President Trump's trade policies. She noted the retaliatory actions other countries might take against American companies and farmers, stating: "The unfortunate but expected outcome of Trump's trade war. Other countries will target American companies & farmers with tariffs of their own. It’s easy to lose customers but hard to win them back."

In a tweet posted on March 13, 2025, Rep. DelBene discussed discussions she had with Washington Attorney General Nick Brown regarding budgetary issues under the Trump administration. She wrote: "WA Attorney General, Nick Brown, & I discussed the Trump administration’s illegal cuts to funding that Congress already approved."

Later on March 13, Rep. DelBene expressed her condolences following the death of her colleague, Rep. Raúl Grijalva. She conveyed her sympathies by stating: "Saddened by the passing of my colleague Rep. Raúl Grijalva. My thoughts are with his family, friends, & the Arizona community."
