Rep. Suzan DelBene, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Washington’s 1st district, recently shared several relevant updates on her Twitter account. DelBene has been a consistent presence in Congress since 2012, stepping in after Jay Inslee. Born in 1962 in Selma, Alabama, she now resides in Medina and is an alumna of Reed College and the University of Washington.

On April 18, 2025, Rep. DelBene discussed her engagement with students in Mr. Hayman's Advanced Placement Government class at Lake Stevens High School. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to interact with the young leaders, stating, "It's great to speak with young leaders like the students in Mr. Hayman's AP Gov class at Lake Stevens High School. I appreciated hearing their questions & discussing what's going on in Congress."

Later on April 18, DelBene invited the public to her town hall in Lake Stevens, urging constituents to register for the event. She stated succinctly, "Join me for my town hall in Lake Stevens tomorrow! Register at https://t.co/cKz8YM41jD."

Furthermore, on April 19, DelBene highlighted the upcoming National Park Week. She informed followers about the National Park Service's decision to waive park entrance fees, encouraging them to explore their state's natural beauty: "Next week is National Park Week & to celebrate the National Park Service is waiving the entrance fee to all parks on April 19. Make sure to take advantage of the natural beauty that our state has to offer!"

These engagements underline Rep. DelBene's commitment to community interaction and promoting the natural treasures of her home state.
